pre-orders for BTV V merchandise

Saturday 24th February 2007 6:03 pm

BTV V merchandise

This year, for BTV V our souvenir merchandise will consist of three different items, all bearing the same single print featuring the names of the six bands appearing. At this stage I can’t say more about the design than that. The print will either be white or the same silver grey we used for BTV II, which ever seems to be most popular.

There will be the ordinary ‘Fruit of the Tomb’ black t-shirts in all the usual sizes in both men’s and women’s styles.
There will also be a black (polyester) tie and a black cotton ’shoulder tote bag’. The bag measures approx. 37 x 32 cms has an internal pocket, internal divider and Rip-Strip (velcro) closure.

Investment in merchandise is a costly and risky business so we are hoping to plan our order to best effect by asking those of you who are coming to BTV V and know that you will want to purchase some item as a memento to help us out by pre-ordering where possible. This system worked very well last year and means that those of you who like your t-shirts can be assured to get your preferred size before we run out.

So, no money up front necessary, just an email to trish@gogpromotions.co.uk in the next week or two listing any items and sizes you wish to pre-order. I will confirm receipt of your order by email and have the item(s) ready for collection at the Cockpit on Easter Sunday.

Currently prices are expected to be as follows:
t-shirts (both types/all sizes) £6 - £7 each
tie £7.00
bag £4.50

thanks for your help folks :)

BLACK VEIL 17:02:07 Double CD release party

Thursday 15th February 2007 5:55 pm

memento_mori_2a.jpg

We are happy to announce we will be making a CD release party for
DOPPELGANGER’s- Saturnian Rings

2 Copies to Be Won !!!!

‘Saturnian Rings’ is the fifth album by one of
the oldest and most famous Russian gothic-rock bands. Its career
started with modern forms of gothic-rock, and album by album the
band’s sound comes closer and closer to the early sounds of gothic-
rock and post punk. ‘Saturnian Rings’ is some sort
of a destination point, some sort of a last house on the block. On
this album band appears with absolutely non-commercial outlook,
giving up a certain part of its audience for the sake of revival of
traditional sound.

Band members’ interest to the role of
Roman God Saturn in medieval alchemic teachings has served as a
framework for this album; lyrics to some songs are inspired by
writings of Gustav Meyrink, well known Austrian author. This is not
just another use of occulted subject as mysterious bait for the
listeners. This is a simple historic interest, an effort to
reevaluate the historical and intellectual heritage of Western
European culture from own point of view.

Along with 10
original tracks this album contains 4 bonus tracks. Bonus tracks are
the remixes of the DopelgangeR song by Two Witches
(Germany/Finland), Redemption (USA), The
Way Of All Flesh (UK), Secrecy (Portugal).
Also, there is a special appearance of Pavel ‘NWO’
Gromov, the front man of Moscow based band
Antisisters. He sings on one of the tracks.

If that wasn’t enough excitement for one night we will alsobe
holding a release party for the new CD “Between Noise &
Transmission” from SD6 (USA) The album was
produced by ‘Tom Shear from Assemblage 23′. If you are interested in
hearing new electro music then this is for you and there are 3
copies to be won.

Advertising in the BTV V event programme

Sunday 11th February 2007 12:02 am

www.gogpromotions.co.uk/btv/index.php?id=btv1

The deadline for artwork ( 14thFeb.) is fast approaching! However, we have had a late cancellation and are hoping to find one person, or more, to take up the remaining space, one full page of A5 in total, at fairly short notice.

Our event programme goes out to everyone who attends Beyond The Veil which means that quite a few get taken out of the UK by the bands and visitors from abroad etc. We are most grateful for the support offered by our advertisers whose financial contributions help fund the much appreciated souvenir programme. We can currently offer spaces at £10, £20 and £40 but reservation confirmation, payment and artwork are required within this next week!

Our normal email addresses @gogpromotions.co.uk are currently unavailable so please contact us at gog.promotions @ ntlworld.com until further notice.

Thanks
Trish
