The Gothic groundbreaking festival
showcasing the best of new and unusual bands
from the world of Goth returns next Easter,
but this time at two new venues:

SAT 15th April “Black Veil” with DJ De’Ath & Andy C
@ Golden Lion Hotel, Leeds

SUN 16th April “Beyond The Veil IV”
Live bands + DJ’s + Stalls @ The Cockpit, Leeds

The main live-band event at the Cockpit on Easter Sunday will open at 3pm. This music venue has a maximum 500 capacity.

There will be, as for all the BTVs to date, a special Black Veil on the preceding night, Saturday 15th April, to be held at the Golden Lion Hotel, which is almost adjacent to the Cockpit, and which we will be using as a base for ourselves and the visiting bands. This classic hotel predates the Metropole by a few years and still retains a comfortable an interesting ambience.

Ticket holders to the festival will be eligible to reduced rates as follows:

Saturday only
£69 Bed and breakfast for a twin or a double.
£49 Bed and Breakfast for a Single

Sunday only
£59 Bed and Breakfast for a twin or double
£45 Bed and Breakfast for a Single

For those wishing to stay the two nights, a two night stay rate of
£120 Bed and Breakfast for a twin or double
£90 Bed and Breakfast for a Single.

These prices compare favourably to those at the Metropole last year and represent very good value for a Leeds city centre hotel (the rack rates are £98 Single, and £110 for a twin and double on a room only basis).

There is wireless broadband in the hotel bar and the first floor bedrooms.

After buying a ticket, anyone wishing to book accomodation will be given a booking code which must be quoted in order to secure the special rates.

The Black Veil event will be held in the largest function room in the hotel and there will be a limited number of full weekend tickets for people wishing to attend this.
